Sutlej Public School was established on 1st january 1976 after sacred name of the biggest river of Punjab- Sutlej, by Sutlej Educational society registered under the societies & firms Registration Act 1860. The School is located at its own Campus measuring 3 acres which is maximum as compared to any other institution of the Town. It is a tremendous achievement of devotion & dedication of its founder member Late Sh. G.S Randhawa & Sh. P.S Punia with whose perspiration & inspiration the School is progressing by leaps & bounds.
This School caters the need of a big area by laying special emphasis on Indian Cultures & makes useful Contributions for the development of modern Education especially of rural areas. With demand of Time the school got its affiliation from C.B.S.E. (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi in the year 2002. The up gradation of school from Secondary to Senior Secondary School is another proof of promoting not just academic excellence but also personal, social and physical development of each student. The proud motto of the School, “Quest for Knowledge “helped it to flourish from 50 students & 4 teachers in 1976 to 1200 student & and 65 teachers today.
